Open Settings

  • Click the Start button or press the Windows key on your keyboard.
  • Click the Settings gear icon, or press Windows + I to open the Settings window.

Navigate to Update & Security

  • In the Settings window, select Update & Security.
  • In the Update & Security section, click on View update history.

Uninstall Updates

  • In the View update history section, click on Uninstall updates at the top of the page.
  • In the Installed Updates window, look for the most recent security update. These are typically labeled as Security Update for Microsoft Windows followed by a KB number (e.g., KB5006670).
  • Select the update you want to uninstall and click the Uninstall button.

You may be prompted to restart your computer to complete the uninstallation. Save any open work before proceeding.
